Today's screenings had audiences clapping--just ask the Union Elementary 4th graders who gave hearty accolades to The Colors Within this morning. We'll have another showing of it on Sunday --tickets are still available– which features a Q&A with Katie Cobos, director of Birds of a Feather, the short that introduces the movie. The talk happens before the feature, which starts at 11:30 AM at the Capitol. Sponsor: Union Elementary School Community Alliance.

Also today, the US premiere of 78 Days was followed by a Q&A with digital specialist Alex Wiske and cinematographer Inés Gowland. We heard about the techniques employed to achieve the very personal storytelling of this movie. Another viewing is scheduled for this Sunday, 12 Noon at the Savoy Upstairs. Sponsor: Good Girl Production.
